Riveted
the HS405 Ribs to the Front HS Spar - I had
some aluminum angle laying around so I put Jennifer
on the gun and we practiced setting some 5/32" rivets.
She picked it up real quick and did a nice job!

Riveted
the HS405 Ribs to the Front HS Spar -
This was the rivet gun set up. We used a
5/32" double offset rivet set. The green cap
on the
end helps keep it on the rivet head and prevents
damaging the work and the rivet head if it comes
off. We ended up with an ideal pressure of 60 psi
for setting
the
5/32"
rivets (3X gun).

Riveted
the HS405 Ribs to the Front HS Spar - I
lightly clamped the front spar on the workbench
so we both had good access to the rivets
and we set them with no problems.

Riveted
the HS405 Ribs to the Front HS Spar - Here
is a shot of the right side. You can
see how much larger the rivet heads are
than the 1/8" rivets in the foreground.
The doublers worked out great.
