Alumiprepped
HS & VS Parts and Worked on my RV Audio System - Alumiprepped
the HS and VS parts prior to treating with Prekote.
This step saves me some elbow grease. If I used only
Prekote I would have to scrub the oxidation off of
the non alclad parts during the Prekote application.
Now I will use a one step Prekote application prior
to
priming.

Alumiprepped
HS & VS Parts and Worked on my RV Audio System - This
is the stereo I am going to install in my baggage
compartment. Ok, I am only joking, but this stereo
is very important to my building process. I love
to listen to music while I build! I got this
Proton D940 tuner/amp in 1989 and it has seen
better days. Sitting in the basement doesn't
do it much good. All of the switch contacts
are corroded and the tuner is dying. The amp
still works great, so I just need to get the
switch contacts clean and I can still drive the
CD player and my iPOD.

HS & VS Parts and Worked on my RV Audio System - Here
it is back together. A brief test drive and it
sounds great again! No messing with the switches
to get sound out of both speakers anymore!
