Vulture's formation flying clinic - I just happened to be surfing the net and I ran across an RV formation flying clinic that was being put on by the Vulture's Formation Team in Millville, NJ. I asked Jennifer if she was willing, and she was as always, so we got in the car and drove down. This is the hangar at the Millville Jet Center where the clinic was held and as you can see there was a pretty good turnout.

Vulture's formation flying clinic - Once the clinic was completed the flights were briefed by all parties involved. Now this is the cool part, they asked those not flying if they wanted to ride along during one of the formation flights. I didn't hesitate...I was in! When all was said and done, Jennifer and I were flying with the Ohio Valley RVators. JJ was going in the lead ship (RV-6) and I was going in the 3 slot in an RV-7A.

Vulture's formation flying clinic - Buckeye Threep. This is Mike "Flaps" Allardyce's RV-7A and I rode with him. Mike's plane was as clean as any I have seen and I really appreciate him letting me ride in it. I could tell he took great pride in it. This was my first ride in an RV-7/7A and I loved it.

Vulture's formation flying clinic - Here is a picture of the whole group when we got back. From left to right is JJ, me, Mike, Rick, Luke, and Glen. The other two guys rode in the 2 and 4 slots but I am terrible with names. Thanks again guys for giving us the opportunity to ride along in the formation flight!
