Making
Progress on my Workbenches - I almost have
the first workbench completed with the exception of
the bottom shelf. It is built to the EAA
Chapter 1000 specs with the exception
of the middle support for the bottom shelf. I added
that just to make it a little
stronger. Top dimensions are 60" x 24".

Making
Progress on my Workbenches -These
are the tops to my other two workbenches. The smaller
one is a 60" x 24" top and the longer one is 90"
x 24". The longer one is built to the same specifications
as the EAA
Chapter 1000 table,
but is just 30 inches longer. I will use it for my
benchtop power tools
and my vise.

Making
Progress on my Workbenches - The
old dining room table I am using as my dimpling table
was a little shaky and was starting to sag a little
with the dimpler mounted on it. I added a sheet of
3/4" plywood to the top and bolted it through both
halves of the table just on the other side of the leaf.
I also added a shelf on the bottom for extra shelf
space and to make the table more sturdy...it is solid
as a rock now. I have been using it as a workbench
to build my workbenches, so I will not mount the dimpler
back on it until I am done.
