Edge Prep on the Wing Ribs
- For the first part of my edge prep process
I use the medium grade Emery Cloth, the one between
the P240 and P60, and a small wooden block to do the
top edges of all of the flanges. This removes all of
the tooling marks and makes the surface nice and smooth
and flat, but still leaves a sharp edge on the flanges.

Edge Prep on the Wing Ribs - I
then use the double edge deburring tool, second from
the right, to remove the sharp edge from the flanges.
I use the multi-burr tool, far right, to remove the sharp
edges from the holes in the webs. I finished these two
processes on all of the wing and tank ribs today.
