Working on Main Wing Spars - Fabricated
a 0.032" plate with a #6 screw dimple
in prep for countersinking the main spars (not
shown).
Drilled the nutplate attach holes on the top
flange
of W706L to #40 and machine countersunk the
holes to accomodate the dimple in the 0.032"
test plate. This is a close-up shot of the
countersunk holes. Also drilled and countersunk
the W706L bottom flange nutplate attach holes.
The back side of all holes were deburred and
all countersunk holes were alodined with the
alodine touch and prep pen. Countersunk W706GL
for two platenuts (not shown). Deburred & alodined
holes.
